Kinetic gives Chelmsford Church ‘a lift’

Kinetic were asked by the Elim Church in Chelmsford to design and install all new lighting for their auditorium. The project was unique because the brief was to provide a solution that would cater for all their functions in the multi-purpose hall from large dining functions to Christmas Concerts. The Church’s leadership also wanted to provide an easy way of setting different scenes and to allow maintenance of the system without having to use ladders or access equipment.

To address these requests kinetic provided a system on a motorised truss that could be easily raised and lowered to modify the lighting or change lamps easily. The scheme also incorporated colour changers and a central touch button scene control system.

Rev. Mike Sherwood, the church’s minister and his leadership team were delighted with the final result. “It’s fantastic that we have eliminated all the requirements of our staff to work at height changing lamps. The system looks great as well – we have managed to create the contemporary feel that we wanted.
